Super packed on July 4th weekend. The service was great! Just give the hard working kitchen staff some time to get your food out on weekends like this. Live music was awesome!!

The best place to eat, drink and look out at water. Well worth the trip from Raleigh. I don't remember when I'd did the original review, but the Shady Shack is still a favorite on weekends for a great lunch with a water view.

An excellent restaurant at the marina on the lake. A beautiful location, excellent service, excellent food, and live music.

Hard to not enjoy yourself at the Shady Shack. We managed to find a spot at the bar and had the pleasure of grabbing a few drinks. The orange crush was worth the hype.
